about

This is a demo version of the Indiana death metal band BERESITH's newest song entitled "Immortal Coils". MMXIII

www.BERESITH.com

"We wrote this song based on the idea that humans could be considered a cancer to this planet. The song is named after the second chapter of the book "The Selfish Gene" by Richard Dawkins. The lyrics attempt to provide a view on humanity that is rarely considered. The music was written to be a new non-stop slammin' beast."

lyrics

Earth - our imposed presence is a whisper of thunderous disgrace. Grotesque, is our known unknown reason for being. Of nothing, for nothing. A funeral for another wasted breath. Scorched land in return. To become one of none. Less of an Earthling more of a king; the de-human delusion. Misplaced neither here nor there, a fallacy to be forgotten. Sentinels of a dawning supremacy. A disease on a land now entrenched with disgrace. A vowed allegiance to emptiness: those disciples. Gone and Forgotten. Rotting. Gone and forgotten. There can be but little justice on Earth, While men still worship a tyrant in heaven; A god, whose veins, course, with oil. We are forced to think, to make the difference. The possibility of none for some, but to us the world... but to us the world.
